The wines of the Domaine Rimbert – Le Rojé, Les Travers de Marceau, Le Mas aux Schistes, L’Agathe, Carignator
Located in Berlou in the North of the appellation Saint Chinian, the Domaine Rimbert is run by Jean-Marie Rimbert, a winemaker but also a man of wit. An atypical person, who managed to impose his style in the regional winegrowing world.
This 28 hectares vineyard is located on steep plots named Travers since 1996. The wines produced by Jean Marie Rimbert are dense and pleasant, on the fruit, meant to be drank while still young.
But considering the density of those wines, it wouldn’t be a surprise if a forgotten wine in a cave would reveal itself to be delicious.
Carignator, one of the nicest wines made of Carignan in Languedoc!
