Bourbon du Kentucky
Woodford Réserve – Woodford Réserve Double Oaked
Located in Versailles in the heart of Kentucky, the distillery was created in 1812 by Elijah Pepper, one of the pioneers of the elaboration of bourbon in the US. The distillery closed down during the Prohibition. In 1996, Brown-Forman, the distille of Louisville decided to restart the brand, by rebuilding the distillery on its original location and by keeping its style and its traditional methods.
The smallest distillery in Kentucky, but also one of the most famous. In this legendary area of horses, Woodford Reserve is the official bourbon for two legendary horse racing : the Kentucky Derby and the Breeder’s Cup.
